My Approach

Integrative Infant Sleep

Integrative

My approach preserves everyone’s mental health, honors the sacredness of the mother-baby dyad, and supports whole-family sleep.

Informed

My work is informed by the latest research in neuroscience, developmental psychology, anthropology, and evolutionary biology.

Intuitive

I will never recommend anything that requires ignoring your baby’s attempt at communicating and I'll never encourage you to try something that goes against your instincts.

Sleep is dynamic and multifaceted.

I'll never promise a quick fix because they rarely exist when infant mental health is considered. I can't promise to get your baby sleeping through the night because wakefulness is a normal part of infant sleep. I can't promise a specific timeline or outcome because babies are human and variable.

But I can promise to leave no stone unturned. I promise you in-depth knowledge of the latest infant sleep research, practical advice for making changes, encouragement when things feel hard, and a partner in problem-solving. Any maybe more importantly, I’ll offer a hand as we walk together back in the direction of your inner-wisdom.

So, how does it work?

For babies:

We will look closely at temperament, routine, environment, sensory preferences, potential red flags, sleep hygiene, and even explore energetic variables to address sleep holistically.

For mothers:

No one knows your baby better than you. I will never strip you of your authority or agency. Sleeping through the night is not a measure of success; it’s not a reflection of your parenting. We’ll brainstorm how to help you feel resourced as we navigate sleep together.

For families:

Our children need love and connection. They need us to be present, not perfect. I believe families deserve options when it comes to infant sleep and it's my job to ensure you feel educated and empowered.
